Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee is committed to preventing and addressing all forms of ragging within the institution, with the primary objective of ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The committee actively promotes awareness about the harmful effects and legal implications of ragging, while ensuring prompt and impartial investigation of reported incidents and strict disciplinary action against those found guilty

In alignment with national anti-ragging regulations, the committee also provides necessary support and counseling to victims. Through continuous monitoring, surprise inspections, and regular interaction with students, it strives to eradicate ragging and promote a culture of dignity and mutual respect

Additionally, the committee serves as a confidential platform for reporting incidents, thereby reinforcing a secure and supportive academic atmosphere. The institution firmly enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form.

Mission

To prevent, prohibit, and eradicate all forms of ragging within the institution by enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy and fostering a safe and respectful academic environment.

Objectives

  • To prevent ragging incidents in and around the campus.
  • To establish a monitoring mechanism in the institution to make note of any such ragging incidents and to take necessary punitive measures against such activities, and to ensure that the college campus is ragging-free.
  • To establish a Zero-Tolerance policy against any form of ragging activities.
  • To establish an amicable atmosphere among different grades of students through various measures, which prevent ragging from occurring.
