At S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. College, sports are not merely activities—they are the heartbeat that keeps the spirit of the institution vibrant and dynamic. Just as a river shapes its course by overcoming obstacles, our students learn resilience, discipline, and determination on the field, transforming challenges into victories.
We believe that true education extends beyond classrooms; it finds expression in the energy of the playground, the strategy of the court, and the endurance of the track. Our Games and Sports Department stands as a training ground of character, where teamwork becomes instinct, leadership is nurtured, and perseverance is forged into strength.
With well-developed infrastructure, modern facilities, and expert coaching, Subodh provides an environment where talent is not only discovered but refined. Our students have consistently brought laurels to the institution, excelling at state, national, and even international arenas, becoming proud ambassadors of the college's sporting legacy.
To further cultivate this spirit, the college regularly organizes inter-college tournaments, fitness and wellness camps, and specialized training programs. Scholarships and dedicated support for outstanding athletes ensure that their passion for sports finds both encouragement and direction.
Carrying forward this legacy, the academic session 2025–26 has been marked by outstanding sporting achievements, reflecting the dedication, talent, and indomitable spirit of our students, as outlined below:

  • Prerna Swamy of B.A. II Year secured a medal in the prestigious EFI CCN Eventing (Equestrian) held on March 7–8, 2026.
  • Manav Sharma of B.A. II Year emerged as a winner in the Apollo Tyres Delhi Marathon held on February 23, 2025.
  • The college won the University of Rajasthan Inter-College Overall General Championship Trophy (2024–2025), a proud achievement maintained for the past twelve consecutive years. Our teams demonstrated outstanding performances in the following inter-college competitions:
    • Cricket (Men) – Winner
    • Badminton (Men) – Winner
    • Table Tennis (Men & Women) – Winner
    • Football (Men) – Winner
    • Aquatics (Men) – Winner
    • Cross Country (10 km) – Runner-up
    • Athletics – Runner-up
    • Volleyball – Runner-up
  • Meet Bhavsar, B.Com. (Business Administration) Final Year, became the Best Batsman of the Kuwait National Cricket Team.
  • Mohit Singh, B.A. II Year, qualified for the Khelo India University Games in Shooting.
  • Dr. Raj Narain Sharma, Head of the Department of Physical Education, represented the institution as the Cricket Team Coach for the University of Rajasthan during the Inter-University Cricket Tournament held at Saurashtra University, Rajkot from January 27 to February 3, 2026.
