The college encouraged to sensitize the faculty and student on its social obligations and the need to exploit learning’s to social empowerment and development. Students are sensitized not only in local issues but also in various global social issues so that the students are developed as responsible citizens of the world. The college has a vibrant environment by providing ethical and value based education. The vision and mission of this institution closely mirrors that of curriculum for excellence but Academic excellence alone does not assure the transformation of a student in good citizen so it is our aim to cultivate knowledge, skills, values and confidence in them to grow, thrive and prosper through extension activities, as they contribute effectively to society. We encourage and promote students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. College enhances the commitment of faculties and students to the centrality of diversity, social justice and democratic citizenship. Institution in accordance with faculty and student plays social responsibility through orientation program, Observing Days of Social Service Relevance and educational lectures and conduct the following outreach activities.
Centre for Peace Studies
- Institutions’ “Centre for Peace Studies” is a social outreach centre, which is working towards World Peace. It is a group of Faculty Members who are involved in various Peace Organisations and has recently conducted a Certificate Course with Centre for United Nations in India “Rio 23 India Initiative 2016” with enrolment of 34 students.
- Institution has also adopted a Village ‘Tankarda’ near Chomu in Jaipur District for social development and inculcation of sustainable environmental practices like promoting organic farming, rainwater harvesting etc.
- Institution has signed an MoU with Rays an NGO working for people suffering from HIV-AIDS. RAYS is a charitable organization that cares for children who were born with the human immunovirus (HIV). Many of these children lost their parents or were abandoned by their families; some were brought here by helpless parents who could no longer provide medical or personal care. RAYS welcomes these children into its family and gives them a home, cares for their medical needs, their education and counsels them towards a life of possibility, positivity and hope.

Village adoption
Village adoption is a unique program conceptualized and being implemented by Subodh College with a view to sensitize and educate them. NSS Volunteers and PG Students identified the village TANKARDA near Chomu in district Jaipur on the basis of three basic needs -Health, Hygiene and Educational assessment. The projects for their overall development under the scheme have following core areas:
- Environment including preservation of natural resources and conservation of Cultural/historical heritage
- Health, Public sanitization and Personal hygiene
- Rural development including Project identification, Programmed Formation, Implementation and Evaluation
- Education including Legal awareness
- AIDS Awareness programme by Red Ribbon Club
- Computer literacy Programme
