S. S. Jain Subodh PG (Autonomous) College has a great value in the field of sports. Students are the young intelligent seedlings of the human civilization; they need to be nurtured with values and discipline. Students' energy and verve can be rightly channelized through sports. At Subodh, we understand the significance of sports and have made it an integral part of our college culture. We have achieved remarkable feats in sports, not only at state level but at national as well as international level.
Through participation in sports and different games, students learn co-operation, teamwork, leadership methods and time management. Games also help students in discovering their hidden talents, to interact with different people and make them aware about varied issues outside their own environment. The environment, guidance and support given by the administration and faculty, nourishes the talent and opens up new avenues for further development. Sports and games are important for the holistic development of an individual. It helps in building of character, value, physical and mental strength. Sports can tell us a lot about ourselves as individuals and as a society. Till today the college has produced plenty of state, national and international players. Sports of several kinds are played across nations and with the passage of time huge amounts of money, name, fame, glamour and media attention have become an integral part of any sport.

  • The college has excellent sports infrastructure to fulfill the needs of sports players in indoor as well as outdoor games.
  • The college financially support International and National players of the college by providing them professional training and other measures.
  • The college appoints visiting coaches for training of various games.

  • Play field for football, cricket, hockey, basket ball, volley ball etc.
  • Indoor stadium for table tennis, badminton, carom, chess etc.
  • Two well equipped gymnasiums are available for students and staff with modern equipments for physical fitness.
  • College also has short firing range.
  • Common room for indoor games.

Session 2018-19

This was a year of remarkable achievements for the college.
  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) is Arjun Awardee and Asian Games medalist.
  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) will represent India for world cup Archery championship at Antalya, Turkey 20th May to 26th May 2019 10th June to 16th April to 28th April 2019.
  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) will represent India for world cup Archery championship at Netherland 3rd June to 9th June 201

  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) was selected for World University Archery Championship 2019 at Napoli, Italy.
  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) won 3 gold medals in all India University Archery Championship, KIIT, Bhubaneshwar.
  • Rajat Chouhan (B.A. I yr.) won gold medal in All India Senior National Archery Championship 2019 at Cuttak, Orissa.
  • Kamlesh Nagarkoti (B.A. II yr.) has been retained as a Member of Kolkata Knight Riders Team in IPL 2019 with price of Rs. 3.20 crore.
  • Rajesh Saini (B.A. II yr.) Won gold medal in all India university archery championship 2018-19 at KIIT, Bhubaneshwar.
  • Rajesh Saini (B.A. II yr.) represented India for world cup stage 4 at Bangkok.
  • Karan Singh Shekhawat (B.A. III yr.) represented India U-19 handball team and won bronze medal in Independence Cup at Kazakhstan.2018
  • Karan Singh Shekhawat (B.A. III yr.) represented Indian Handball team in Asian championship at Bangkok.
  • Vivek Kumar (B.A. III yr.) represented India U-19 handball team and won bronze medal in Independence Cup at Kazakhstan.2018

  • Maan Singh Shekhawat (B.A. II yr.) represented Indian Handball team in Asian championship at Bangkok.
  • Shrishti Kanwar (B.A. II yr.) won Silver medal in All India Senior National Archery Championship 2019 at Cuttak, Orissa.
  • Vishnu Sharma (B.A. IIIyr.) represented Rajasthan State in National Walk Event 20 km and also won gold medal in Rajasthan State Championship 2018.
