Sports Activities

College holds Over All Sports Championship amongst all affiliated colleges of University of Rajasthan since last five years. College students have excellent track record of participation in various inter college, inter university, state, national and international events. The college promotes sports culture in our college by organizing various sports meet as per the compliance of sports / academic calendar of college and university.

  • The college has excellent sports infrastructure to fulfill the needs of sports players in indoor as well as outdoor games.
  • The college financially support International and National players of the college by providing them professional training and other measures.
  • The college appoints visiting coaches for training of various games.

  • The college has a stadium with sitting capacity of 2000 spectators.
  • Play field for football, cricket, hockey, basket ball, volley ball etc.
  • Indoor stadium for table tennis, badminton, carom, chess etc.
  • Two well equipped gymnasiums are available for students and staff with modern equipments for physical fitness.
  • College also has short firing range.
  • Common room for indoor games.

Session 2016-17

This was a year of remarkable achievements for the college.
  • Swati Dudhwal represented Indian University Archery team in World university championship 2016 – Ulaanbaatar, (Mongolia) and won Gold medal and participated in 3rd stage Archery World Cup 2016- at Antalya, (Turkey).
  • Manendra Singh played for Rajasthan Ranji team 2016-17 as opening batsman.
  • Shubham Sharma played for Rajasthan Cricket Association U-23 team for Col, C. K. Naidu trophy 2016-17.
  • Narendra Singh Rathore represents Rajasthan Weight-Lifting team and won Bronze medal and won gold medal at state level.
  • Shubham Ojha represented Rajasthan in all India table tennis ranking, East zone held at Aizwal and won bronze medal and also won gold medal (Individual), gold medal (Team gold) and silver medal (Youth individual), at Jaipur.
  • Gaurav Kaushik, Karan Singh, Vivek Kumar,Karan Singh,Mitaksh Ramawat Represented Rajasthan in Junior National handball championship held at Patna-
  • Rinku Sharma represents Rajasthan in all India national taekwondo championship and won Gold medal.
  • Tarkik Sundriya represents Rajasthan in all India karate championship at Goa.
  • College cricket team reached till north India level in “REDBULL CAMPUS CRICKET tournament 2016-17”.
  • Akash swami, Ashish Pratap singh ,Naveen chahar won Gold medal in Basketball in West zone inter-university tournament where as Praveen kumawat, Jitendra Kumar meena and Ajay kumar meena won Gold medal in badminton

Session 2015-16

This was a year of remarkable achievements for the college.
  • The college students have been able to achieve great success at national and international level.
  • It is a matter of proud that the college secured 9 winning positions (Gold) as well as 9 Runner up positions (Silver) in intercollegiate tournament in the University of Rajasthan.
  • This is a record for the college as no other college has been able to achieve so many winning positions in a single year at intercollegiate level; the college won positions in 18 out of 23 games.
  • Total 150 students got positions in intercollegiate tournament. 47 students became a part and represented the Teams of University of Rajasthan in All India University tournament, out of them 11 students got gold, silver and bronze medals.
  • Two students were selected for Indian team-
    (i) Archery- Swati Doodhwal
    (ii) Squash racket- Vijay Meena.
  • Sarvesh Pareek won Gold medal in Archery in 19th Asian Archery Championship held in Bangkok. He represented India in Stage IV World Cup 2015 and won Bronze Medal) at Medellin, Columbia. He also secured II Position in Senior National Championship held at New Delhi. He participated in XXXV National Games, Kerala in 2015 and registered win with a Silver Medal. His winning spree didn’t end there; he brought more laurels for the college by winning Gold Medal in All India University Tournament.
  • Nikita Kanwar participated in World University Games held at South Korea for Archery.
  • Shubham Sharma was selected Captain for Under 19 Rajasthan Cricket team. He is the highest wicket taker in Under19 category in India.
  • Manendra Singh is a player of Rajasthan Ranji Team. He made century against Haryana.

Session 2014-15

This session was record breaking year for S. S. Jain Subodh PG (Autonomous) College in the field of sports.
  • The college worked hard throughout the year and as a result exceeded the winning record of the last three years.
  • This year the college participated in all 23 team events organized by University of Rajasthan in which 8 teams Handball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Gymnastic, Pistol, Cycling and Archery became the winner.
  • The team of Squash- racket, Weightlifting, Hockey, Cross country and athletics begged second position.
  • The college also won the Rajasthan University General Championship Trophy consecutively for second year with record points of 64, ever secured by a college.

Session 2013-14

This year proved to be a year of triumph and the college team participated in all 23 events organized by University of Rajasthan, Sports Board.
  • Six team- Handball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash racket, Weightlifting and Pistol and Air riffle shooting bagged the first position.
  • Boxing, cycling and Badminton teams secured second positions.
  • The college again won General Championship Trophy with record 48 points among 900 colleges in session 2013-14.
  • Total 240 players participated in inter-collegiate tournament in 2013-14 and 40 college players represented University of Rajasthan teams and 25 players reached All India Inter University Tournament.
  • Four players of Handball team were the member of university team in All India Inter University Tournament.

Session 2012-13

The college entered into consecutive second year of winning spree.
  • Promotion of sports activity is one of the domains of the college and the students paid this effort by winning consecutively in Badminton, Table Tennis and Cycling.
  • Runner up in Boxing, Gymnastic, Tennis, Weightlifting and Pistol and Air riffle shooting.
  • The college has overall won the General Championship Trophy in 2012-13
