The Department of Hindi was established in 1966. Number of post sanctioned is five and all are filled. All the members are PhD holders.                                                                                                                                                

Departmental library is not separate and central library is used for the purpose. Central computer facility is available for all faculty and students.       

Faculty members participated in six National/ International Level seminars and Conferences.

• Western Impact on Hindi literature in present novels.

• Women studies and Hindi literature.
