International Year of Periodic Table

The Chemistry Department celebrated International Year of Periodic Table on August 31,2019 to commemorate 150th Anniversary of Mendeleev’s periodic table. On the occasion, Prof Rakesh Kumar, University of Delhi and Prof Pritam Mukhopadhyay, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi delivered plenary lectures on the Periodic Table. Prof P. S. Verma, Former Chairman, RPSC was the Chief Guest. About 415 participants registered themselves for various competitions like Scientific rangoli, Quiz contest, Power point presentation and Poster making. Prof Anshu Dandia and Dr. C. L. Khandelwal, Retired Heads, Department of Chemistry, University of Rajasthan were the judges for the competitions.

National Conference on Transforming Society through Literature and Social Movements

A two-day National Conference on "Transforming Society through Literature and Social Movements" was organized by the Department of English on September 6-7, 2019. The conference provided a vibrant platform for the discussion of the imperative role of literature and social movements in proliferation of transformation in society. Shri Vishnu Lata Mayor, Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Chief Guest of the event, inaugurated the ceremony. Keynote address was given by Prof. Pankaj K. Singh, Himachal Pradesh University, Simla, Prof. Gautam Ghosal, Visva Bharti University, Shanti Niketan graced the occasion as the special guest. In the valedictory ceremony, Prof. Bodh Prakash, Ambedkar University, Delhi was the main speaker and Prof. Naresh Dadhich, former Vice Chancellor, VMOU, Kota was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

National Conference on Changes in Lifestyle Influencing Adolescent Health

A two-day National Conference on “Changes in Lifestyle Influencing Adolescent Health” was organized by Department of Zoology under the auspices of Indian Society for the Study of Reproductive and Fertility (ISSRF) on September 28-29, 2019. The inaugural session was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Raja Babu Panwar, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur; Presiding Guest, Dr. V.M. Katoch, Former DG-ICMR and Secretary DHR, ICMR-NASI Chair; Guest of Honor, Dr. R.S. Sharma, Scientist-G & Head, Division of Reproductive Biology, Maternal and Child Health, ICMR, New Delhi; and Prof. N.K. Lohiya, President, ISSRF, NASI Senior Scientist, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Valedictory address was given by the Chief Guest: Prof. Sudhir Bhandari, Principal, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. The conference was a huge success, encompassing about 357 registrations from all around the nation. They keenly focused on the issues faced by the youth and reinforced an initiative towards UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for the year 2030.

National Conference on Climate Change and Sustainable Development: Issues and Policy Initiatives

A two-day National Conference on “Climate Change and Sustainable Development: Issues and Policy Initiatives” was organized by the Department of Geography on December 23-24, 2019. Expanding over five technical sessions on topics of relevance in sustainability, the galaxy of invited speakers, guests and experts included Prof. Kaushal K. Sharma, Director, ICSSR, New Delhi; Prof. S. C. Rai, Prof. H. C. Sharma, Prof. M. K. Pandit, Dr. Sanjay Raj, Prof. T. I. Khan, Prof. M. S. Nathawat, Dr. Anirudh Sahani and Prof. D. R. Khullar. Several meaningful papers were presented by researchers from all over the country on topics relating to impacts and implications of climate change, urbanization and Industrialization, biodiversity conservation, management of waste and water resources, disaster management etc.

National Conference on Rethinking Poverty and The Ways To End It

A two days National Conference on “Rethinking Poverty and The Ways To End It” was organized by the Department of Economics in association with Rajasthan Economic Association and Ranka Public Charitable Trust on January 24-25, 2020.The inaugural session was enriched by the respectful presence of the following dignitaries-Chief Guest Sh. Arvind Mayaram, Economic Advisor to Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan; Presiding Guest Prof. V.V. Singh, Dean Social Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; Key note speaker Prof. Chandrasekhar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumba; Prof. M. D. Mathur, President, Rajasthan Economic Association; and Ms.Urmila N. Ranka, Chairperson, Ranka Public Charitable Trust. The two days of the conference had four technical sessions in which research scholars and academicians from various parts of the country presented papers on varied topics like Globalization and its effects on poverty, financial status of countries and its effects on poverty, Curbing poverty in India and Poverty & health etc. The conference was a huge success, with more than 350 registrations from all over the nation.

National Conference on Novel Advancements in Chemical Sciences

A two days National Conference on “Novel Advancements in Chemical Sciences” was organized by the Department of Chemistry on January 27 – 28, 2020. The inaugural function was graced by the presence of several learned academicians and research scholars from the field of Chemistry. The Chief guest of the function was Mrs. Mughda Sinha, Secretary DST, Govt. of Rajasthan, the keynote speaker was Prof. C. P. Bhasin from Hemchandra North Gujarat University and Dr. Asha Jain, Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Rajasthan was the special guest. With more than 400 registrations from various states of India, the conference witnessed meaningful presentations and deliberations by paper presenters and panelists. The four technical sessions were followed by the valedictory function which was graced by the presence of Prof. Ashu Rani, Professor, University of Kota and Prof. P.S. Verma, Former Chairman, RPSC and Former Dean Faculty of Sciences, University of Rajasthan.

  • Department of Computer Science organized a One Day National Workshop in association with Horizon on ‘Programming Concepts of PHP’ for MCA III Semester students on November 28, 2019.
  • Department of Psychology organized a One-Day Workshop on helping the students to reflect about themselves using the expressive arts process. Ms. Manju Jain, an internationally renowned psychologist from Portland, Oregon, USA, Certified expressive arts group facilitator, explained how movement, meditation, creative arts, journaling and discussion can be used to express oneself and develop insight.
  • Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) was organized from September 25-27, 2019 chaired by Prof. Satish Batra, Department of Economics, University of Rajasthan and Mr. K.L. Swami and Mr. R.S. Shekhawat were the eminent speakers.
  • A National Workshop on Science through Experiments was organized by the Department of Physics on October 1-2, 2019. The workshop included nine technical demonstrations organized by various experts. More than 600 UG & PG students from various colleges of Jaipur attended the workshop. During this workshop an innovation hub was also setup for UG students. The first technical session comprised of demonstration on Rutherford scattering by Prof. D.K. Avasthi Director Nanotechnology Centre Amity Noida, the second demonstration was made by Prof. M.S. Marwah from Chandigarh on waves and vibrations. The third demonstration was made by Prof. Y.K. Vijay, Director CIST- IIS University, Jaipur. The fourth demonstration was made by Dr. Sarmishtha Sahu, Maharani College, Bangalore on lustrous light by showing experiments of diffraction and interference. The fifth demonstration was also by Dr. Sarmishtha Sahu on Quantum tunneling, the sixth demonstration was on Electricity & Electromagnetism by Mr. Manoranjana Singh, Birla Public School Pilani, the seventh demonstration was on magic of Science by Mr. A.K. Srivastava, eighth demonstration was on Magnetic Freezer by Dr. Ambesh Dxit, IIT Jodhpur, and the ninth demonstration was on interference of light by Mr. G.S. Menaria, Jaipur.
  • One day “National Workshop on Java Technology” was organized by Department of Computer Science on November 26, 2019. The speaker was Mr. Abhishek Jain from Road Ahead Technologies, Jaipur. The trainer explained students about java programming and its importance in the practical world. This workshop helped the participants understand what’s the need of java developer in IT Industry and why should they choose Java development as their career. Sixty-five MCA students participated in the workshop.
  • A One-Day Field Oriented Workshop on “Assessment of Biodiversity and Field Botanization” was organized for the Botany students on July 31, 2019 at Smriti Van, Jaipur. In the programme, Dr. N. C. Jain, Director, Rajasthan Forestry and Wildlife Training Institute, Jaipur, discussed the biodiversity of state of Rajasthan and discussed the importance of conservation of local flora and fauna. Botanical expert and a retired Professor from the University of Rajasthan, Dr. Sudhakar Mishra, offered guidance to the scholars on plant identification. Dr. Amit Kotia, Assistant Professor, University of Rajasthan explored the vegetation of Kulish Smriti Van with scholars to enrich their botanical knowledge of local species. A documentary film on Tiger Wildlife Sanctuary was also shown to students to reiterate the importance of conservation of biodiversity.
  • A one day seminar on "Role and Functions of RBI in Financial Literacy" was organized by the Dept. of Economic Administration and Financial Management on 22nd Jan 2020. The event was graced with the presence of Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Regional Director, RBI (Raj.) along with Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Manoj Mathur, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Arvind Nigam, Assistant General Manager, RBI, Jaipur. The students had a good interactive session about the functioning and the upcoming policies of RBI and its effects on Indian Economy


  • Department of Political Science in collaboration with NSS organised a lecture on October 2, 2019 on Gandhi's life and Philosophy. Prof Vidhya Jain Former Principal, University Maharani College, Chief Guest of the event, praised values of Gandhism and broadly put flashes on Gandhi ji's views and their importance in daily life. Several activities like poem recitation competition, poster presentation etc were also conducted. A total of 150 students took part in the whole programme.
  • Department of Economics organized a lecture on ‘Sustainable Development in India’ on October 2, 2019. The resource person was Dr Kanwaljeet Kaur, Guru Gobind Singh College, Chandigarh.
  • Department of Botany invited Prof. S.L. Kothari, Vice President, Amity University to deliver a lecture on “Climate Change and Biotechnology: Appraisal and Solution” on October 10, 2019.
  • Dr. Soumona Datta, Head, Department of Botany, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur delivered a lecture on the topic “Biodiversity Index”. It was organized by Department of Botany on November 7, 2019.
  • Department of Mathematics organized a guest lecture on “Development of Mathematics" which was delivered by Prof. P. N. Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Nehru Gram Bharati University Allahabad on September 19, 2019.
  • Prof Vijay Veer Singh, Department of Economics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur delivered a lecture on ‘Rethinking poverty and the ways to end it.’ It was organized by Department of Economics on November 13, 2019.
  • A lecture on ‘Health Issues related to Cardiology and Oncology’ was organized on November 16, 2019. Dr Naveen Sharma, Senior Oncologist, Apex Hospital and Dr B.M Goyal, Chief Intervention Cardiologist at the same hospital were the main speakers.
  • Prof. Rajmal Jain, Fellow Gujrat Science Academy delivered a lecture on “X-ray spectroscopy for interdisciplinary science” on November 16, 20019. It was organised by Department of Physics.
  • Dr. Rajesh Singh, Deputy Director Crime Scene Management and Head of Biology Division, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Rajasthan Jaipur delivered a lecture on “Forensic Wildlife-A New Approach to Young Scientists”. It was organized by Department of Environmental Science on November 23, 2019.
  • Prof. Rajesh Kumar Dubey, Director National Resource Centre, Biotechnology Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur delivered a lecture on “Biotechnology: Innovative Research”. It was organized by Department of Botany on December 13, 2019.
  • A lecture on “Microbial Biotechnology” by Prof. K. Mohan, Head, Research and Development, Birla Institute of Scientific Research, Jaipur was organized by the Department of Botany on September 11, 2019.
  • Dr. N.C. Jain, Director, Rajasthan Forestry and Wild Life Training Institute (RFWTI), Jaipur delivered a lecture on “Green Vision of Jaipur” on September 19, 2019. It was organised by Department of Botany.
  • A guest lecture was organized by Department of History on February 18, 2020 on “Important Trade Routes of Rajasthan History” by Prof. G.S.L. Devra. Former Vice Chancellor, Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
  • A lecture on “Ayushman Bharat & Career Opportunities in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Development Sector” was organized by the Department of BBA on March 3, 2020. The invited speaker was Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant Professor, IIHMR, Jaipur.
  • A lecture on “Synergic Advantage from Blending Make in India and Assemble in India” was held on February 15, 2020 by the Department of Business Administration. The speaker was Dr. Kapil Dev Sharma, Director, Academics, L.B.S Group of Colleges and Principal, Lord Buddha College of Technology and Sciences and Former Principal, Government Commerce College, Kota.
  • On January 29, 2020 Department of Sanskrit organised a lecture on importance of ‘Vasant’ in human life. Prof. Beena Agarwal, Department of Sanskrit, University of Rajasthan was the invited speaker of the occasion.
  • On February 13, 2020 a series of two guest lectures on Geeta was organized by the Department of Sanskrit. The eminent speakers were Prof. Dayanand Bhargava, J.G.R.R Sanskrit University who spoke on “Geeta- Sugeeta Kartavya” and Dr. Subodh Agarwal, ACS Industry, Rajasthan Government spoke on “ Geeta mai Jeevan Prabandhan ke Sutra”.
  • On February 14, 2020 Department of Chemistry organized a guest lecture on “Computational Science and its Application” , Dr. K. R. S Chandra Kumar, Scientist F ( INSA Member), Theoretical Chemistry Section, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai was the speaker.
  • Department of Business Administration organised a lecture on “Classroom to Corporate” on January 18, 2020. The resource person was Mr. Aditya Singhal, Vice President, HSBC.
  • Department of BBA organised a lecture on “Interacting with the Best View Forward: Excelling in Interviews” on January 29, 2020. The resource person was Dr. Tanjul Saxena, Associate Professor, IIHMR, Jaipur.


  • Under the DBT Star Scheme, five students and one faculty member, Dr. Shazia Jamal, Department of Botany participated in Three-Day Skill Training programme on “Cultivation and Processing of Economically Important Medicinal and Aromatic Crops” organized by CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from September 18-20, 2019.
  • On August 21, 2019, one day Google Training Programme was organised by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication to caution students from getting misled by fake news. Ms. Aparna Praveen Kumar from Google discussed the ways to identify fake news and validate it through different tools.
  • Seven days Self Defence Training for the girl students was organized from February 10-16, 2020 in which around 630 girls got registered and participated with full enthusiasm. In the valedictory ceremony on February 17, 2020, the Chief Guest Sh. Bhupendra Singh Yadav, DGP Rajasthan; Sh Ajay Singh Lamba, ACP, Jaipur; Ms. Preeti Jain, SP, Jaipur; Ms. Monika Sen, DCP, Jaipur; Ms Sunita Meena, ADCP, Jaipur and Ms. Mamta Shardul, Inspector, Jaipur made their benign presence. Sh. Bhupendra Singh Yadav stated that the aim behind such program is to provide a safe environment to all the females and to develop the Jaipur into a safe city.


  • A sensitization and awareness programme on harmful effects of tobacco, "Tobacco Free Jaipur" was jointly organized by Subodh College and Vaagdhara NGO on September 20, 2019. The objective of the programme was to emphasize upon the harmful impact of tobacco since more than three times of the revenue generated by Government through tobacco is spent on medical and health facilities. Tobacco consumption causes several health problems such as asthma, heart attack, cancer etc. Therefore, people should be motivated towards making healthier life choices and be encouraged to quit these unhealthy habits for their own good as well as of their loved ones. Mr. Rajesh Hiran, Manager Advocacy along with Ms. Varsha Khanchandani and Ms. Renu Beniwal, Vaagdhara Foundation addressed the students and faculty members and made them aware of the damage caused by tobacco. A pledge was also taken by all the students and faculty members to make the city, tobacco free.
  • An awareness programme on the contemporary issues of Drug Addiction was held on November 1, 2019. Dr. Rahul Jain, DCP East made students aware of the repercussions of drug addiction and encouraged the gathering to play an active role in its awareness programme. Dr. Jain also made students aware of ‘Clean Sweep Operation’. The lecture focused not only on the harmful effects of drugs but also on how to refrain from drug usage.


MCA Institute of the college, as per the directives given by Rajasthan Technical University Kota, conducted its 9th Convocation Ceremony on August 19, 2019. In the ceremony, the degrees of MCA and MBA were awarded to 89 students. Mr. Rajendra Kumar Jain ‘Raja’, Convener of the MCA Institute was the Chief Guest of the programme. He congratulated all the students and motivated them to excel in their respective domains.

QIV Felicitation

Rajasthan Technical University Kota, had conducted evaluation process for Quality Index Value (QIV) of affiliated colleges during session 2019-20. In this ranking, MCA Institute had been awarded third rank in Rajasthan with “A – Grade”. Prof. K. B. Sharma, Director, MCA Institute was felicitated by Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota on August 15, 2019 and was given Quality Index Value Certificate and memento during the award ceremony.

Faculty Development Programme

  • ‘Art of Praise and Science of Criticism’ was an insightful amalgam of staff orientation cum faculty development programme organized on October 14, 2019. This event was graced by two eminent speakers. Prof. Ramesh Arora, a well-known persona in the field of academics and education and, Shikhar Prajapati, a new face of modern communication skills in the field of motivation. Prof. Arora with his convincing approach and suggestive allusions stated that commendation and criticism are the two faces of same coin and are equally important in life whichever way either fair or foul, it imbibes your personality. Further Prof. Arora strikes on ‘Positive Attitude’ that is an endless source of the sight – ‘God in everything’. Shikhar Prajapati spread energy and enthusiasm into the event, with his booming and interactive session. He talked about the steps to success, emphasizing on continuous and focused hard work, self-assessment, and self-improvement, whilst cautioning against the harms of mindless drudgery and abnormality. The many benefits of reading and time management were reiterated by him.
  • Five days Faculty Development Program (FDP) in collaboration with NITTTR, Chandigarh was successfully completed by Department of Computer Science. In this program, Open Source tools for Machine Learning, A.I., Deep Learning, Teaching and Research, Scientific and Technical Writing and Block Chain Technology were discussed by various experts. The five days FDP benefitted the faculties of Department of Computer Science, faculties of other colleges and RTU research scholars.
  • One-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) in collaboration with Computer Society of India (CSI), Jaipur Chapter was organized successfully by Department of Computer Science. This FDP included theoretical as well as practical aspects of Machine Learning using Python on Anaconda, Spyder and Pycharm tools. This course was primarily aimed for Computer Science faculties to enhance their knowledge in respective field. Mr. Abhishek Jain from Road Ahead Technologies Pvt. Limited has conducted this FDP. He had explained the importance of Data Analysis and Data Science in practical working and research aspects.

Republic Day

71st Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism. First of all the flag hoisting took place in the college campus then the staff of all 19 Subodh Institutions gathered at Janmangal stadium. Students presented a beautiful cultural programme filled with the colors of patriotism. A small felicitation ceremony also took place where the outstanding performances were appreciated by the Subodh Samiti in the category of students and faculty both.

Independence Day

On August 15, 2019, the Independence Day was celebrated in the college with a patriotic fervour. Sh. V.C. Daga, Convener of the college unfurled the flag to mark the celebration of freedom and victory for the nation.

International Women’s Day Celebration

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a Women Conclave was organized on March 8, 2020, with the theme of “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Right”. The program was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Jyoti Kiran Shukla, Former Chairperson, RFC, Jaipur; Presiding Guest, Ms. Jyoti Khandelwal, Former Mayor, Jaipur Muncipal Corporation, Jaipur and Guest of honour, Ms. Anju Singh, President, Laghu Udhyog Bharti (Women Wing), Jaipur. Dr. Jyoti Kiran Shukla addressed the girl students and stated that women can be empowered without being aggressive. The session turned out to be highly interactive.

National Science Day

National Science Day was celebrated on February 28, 2020 on the theme assigned by DST on "Women in Science" under DBT star scheme. Dr. Archana Sharma, Media Chairperson Rajasthan Congress Committee was Chief Guest; Dr. Preeti Jain, S.P. Policing Community, Police Head Quarter, Jaipur was Presiding Guest and Prof. Kanan Bala Sharma, Former Principal, University Maharani's College, Jaipur was Keynote speaker. On this day, many activities like working models, non-working models, debate competition, quiz competition, extempore, treasure hunt, and many more were organized. Almost 400 students of Subodh and other colleges participated in all the events with full zeal & zest. More than 50 working and non-working models were exhibited by the students. Prof. Amla Batra, Former Principal, University Maharani's College, Jaipur and Prof. Amita Gill, Former Director, DST were the judges for different events. Winners of different activities were awarded cash prizes, medals and certificates.

COVID-19 Relief Fund

Subodh Siksha Samiti is a group of Philanthropists, which deeply believe in "Seva-Parmodharma". Along with quality education the Samiti has always extended its helping hands towards the social cause. During the fata spread of COVID-19, the Samiti has shown its sincere concern towards the society and Nation and donated Rs. one crore in the COVID-19 relief fund.
Realizing the duty of responsible citizens, the staff of the Subodh college, donated their two days salary in COVID-19 relief fund.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

"Rakshasutra is not just a thread but a life source. It is not only a protective shield but a facilitator of happiness and sorrow." These words were shared by Brahmakumari Padma on August 17, 2019 on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan Mahotsav organised by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari VishwaVidyalaya. Brahmakumari Jayanti spoke about the spiritual and social aspect of tying the Rakshasutra. During the programme, Brahmakumari extended their good wishes and tied the symbol of purity and safety to all faculty members and students. They also entertained the participants by organizing a lucky tarot card (Sankalp Patra) picking se ssion.

Plantation Programme

On January 18, 2020, Department of Computer Science, successfully completed the event of Plantation. Principal, Staff members, and students of Department of Computer Science actively participated in this activity and planted more than 100 plants in the campus. At that time Principal advised to all students to think differently for the Society to make positive changes and to make improvements.

Hindi Divas Celebration

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas on September 14, 2019, a debate competition was organised by the Department of Hindi on the topic “Effect of Social Media on Society in the Present Scenario”. Dr. G. S. Chauhan, Joint Secretary, UGC was the Chief Guest and Dr. Vinod Sharma, Director, Mass Communication Centre, University of Rajasthan and Former Head, Department of Hindi, University of Rajasthan was the Presiding Guest. Dr. Sudha Rathi from College Education explained the importance of Hindi language while also highlighting its democratic perspective.

PPT Presentations

A series of Power point presentations for the first semester students of B.A., BBA, B.Sc. and B.Com. was organized in the month of August. The objective of the presentations was to revise the syllabus incorporated in the first Continuous Internal Assessment. The overwhelming number of students in the auditorium showed their positivity and interest towards the exercise.
A series of PPT presentations by the faculty members was organized by the Department of BBA from January 27, 2020- February 1, 2020 for the students of Semester II. This teaching learning initiative was undertaken with an aim to create an interactive knowledge enhancement platform for the budding managers.

Inter College Competition

Inter College Competition “B.C.A. CHAMP” for B.C.A. Students was organized by Department of Computer Science under DBT-Star scheme, on February 7, 2020. 200 students from 22 different colleges had participated in this event. The exam was conducted to test participants’ technical, logical and general awareness skills. Sh. Rajendra Jain ‘Raja’, Convener, MCA Institute and Prof K. B. Sharma, Principal of the college gave away the cash prizes to all the winners. The winner’s prize money was Rs. 5000 and Rs 3000 and Rs.1000 were for first Runner up and second Runner-up respectively. Along with this, five consolation prizes of Rs 500 each were also given.

Technitude-2020 Technitude-2020

Under DBT-star scheme, the Two-days Inter-college Tech Fest – “Technitude-2020” had been organized by Department of Computer Science on February 7-8, 2020. Around 400 participants from 22 colleges and universities participated in this event. Various competitions were organised during the fest viz. “C” Coding, Short film making, Quiz, Antakshri, Poster making and D-virus. All the students participated very enthusiastically and winners were awarded with trophies and certificates. Winning College trophy was bagged by Subodh P.G. College and IIS university team won Runner-up trophy.

The Swachhta Pledge Taking Ceremony

A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary. As part of this abhiyan, “The Swachhta Pledge Taking Ceremony” was organized by Department of Computer Science on January 17, 2020.

Teachers Day Celebration

The students of Science, Commerce, Arts and BBA celebrated teacher’s day on September 5, 2019 with great zeal and enthusiasm. They showed their respect towards their teachers by offering floral welcome and greetings, and organizing a cultural programme.

Basant Panchami Celebration

Basant Panchami –the popular Hindu festival marking the arrival of Spring and also dedicated to goddess Saraswati, was celebrated in the college with great zeal and enthusiasm .With floral offerings to the goddess the puja began and ended with the reiteration of the true spirit underlying the significance of the day by all the students and faculty members. Goddess Saraswati denotes serenity and calmness and her four hands denote four facets of human personality namely mind, intellect, alertness and ego. The lotus on her hand symbolizes true knowledge and the ability to discriminate the bad from the good.


The Chemistry Faculty organized CONTECH-19 under the aegis of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR) on November 16, 2019. This exam is an objective type exam conducted annually by Association of Chemistry teachers for Undergraduate Chemistry students. 250 students registered for the examination. The college was praised for giving maximum participation in the test in the central zone and the whole country.


National Graduate Physics Examination 2020 was organised on January 19, 2020 for the Physics Graduation students. This test is organised by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers to promotes the concepts of Physics among the under graduate students. A large number of students participated in the test and fourteen students qualified in this exam who shall receive benefits while seeking admissions to premier institutions for Higher education.

Trekking Programme

The students and faculty members of Botany department participated in ''Trek for Clean Heritage'' event organised by the Rajasthan Forestry and Wildlife Training Institute, Jaipur on September 22, 2019 for the mission Green vision of Jaipur. The participants chose Gatore Chhatriyan and Galta gate for trekking and cleaning. After the trekking, they participated in exhibition ''Best out of waste'' at Jal Mahal. Two students from the college got prizes in the lucky draw.

Fresher’s Party

In the month of October, a Fresher's Party (Pallavan) was organized in the college for BBA, BCA, Science, Commerce and Arts. The whole atmosphere was filled with the vibes of enthusiasm and fraternity. The main attraction remained the " Ramp Walk" for the new entrants, in which they showcased their skills of singing, dancing, acting etc. Various titles were given to the outstanding performers along with the titles of Mr. & Ms. Fresher. College Principal conveyed best wishes for the Semester End exams and felicitated the title winners of the events.
