College Educational Tours

Educational tours and visits play an important role in the teaching learning process. The main objective of conducting an educational trip for students is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning and give opportunity to observe a particular environment that facilitates the first-hand experience. Some of the educational visits organized by the college in the session 2016-17 are summarized below.

  • Department of Zoology & Environmental Science conducted a one day trip cum workshop on 17th November, 2016 for M.Sc. Students on “Natural Environment & Biodiversity Conservation” at Nahargarh Biological Park.
  • Department of Economics organized a visit to Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha for attending the budget session. This live experience was of great value and learning for the students.
  • The students of Department of Statistics visited NSSO (National Sample Survey Office) in March in order to enhance the statistical and survey skills of the students.
  • Department of Zoology organized a visionary visit to Forensic Science Laboratory, Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur on 6th October, 2016 for Post Graduate students. Dr. Anand Jindal, head of DNA and Serology Department, deliberated basic information about various technologies which are being used to solve criminal cases and family disputes.
  • An industrial visit to ‘Askshaypatra’ & ‘Jaipur Saras Dairy’ was organized for the budding managers & future entrepreneurs of BBA Part I, II, & III on March, 2017. The students were exposed to the corporate social responsibility aspect of business. They also attended a lecture linking Management with Spirituality. At SARAS, they were exposed to the total manufacturing process right from the procurement of milk up to its marketing. Students enquired regarding quality check, operating process, packaging of milk products and many more.
  • Department of Public Administration organized a field visit to Ranthambore National Park for PG students along with faculty members on 6th March ,2017.
  • Students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. of Department of Botany visited Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair on 26/9/2016. There was a science exhibition in which lots of working models, nonworking models and posters were display by students of various engineering colleges from Rajasthan. Another educational visit was organised to Karpoor Chand Kulish Van on 30th September, 2016 where Students explored the knowledge of medicinal plants and plants of different families pertaining to their syllabus.
  • Students of Sociology were taken for one day visit to Open Air Camp (popularly known as open Jail) at Sanganer, Jaipur on 10th March, 2017 where Students and faculty members interacted with Jail Authorities and Prisoners. The students got a glimpse of correctional mechanism and received valuable inputs on various aspects of correctional mechanism and Jail administration in Rajasthan.
