Our students  secured positions in the merit list of Rajasthan University. One of the student of B.Com III Samkit Hirawat stood I in the merit list of Rajasthan University. Vaibhav Sharma B.Com part-III stood II in the merit list of the same and Ish Kumar Gulati B.Com III stood IXin the merit list. Ranjeet Bhagat B.Com II secured IX position in the merit list. Ms. Rajini Saxenain M.Sc. (IT) Ist semester secured II position in the merit list of Rajasthan University. Mohammad Shakeel BCA II year also get VIII position in the University. in the merit. 

B : Year in Retrospect

 Ø   National Conference on "Recent tourism Scenario in India and its impact on Economy of Rajasthan:-

Three days national conference on "Recent tourism Scenario in India and its inpact on Economy of Rajasthan was organized during 28-30 September 2007 in the college campus. This was inaugurated by the Panchayati Raj Minister, Sh. Kalu Lal Gurjar and was chaired by the Sh.Atul Kumar Garg. Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Govt. of Raj., Jaipur, Prof. Vasudeo Devnani, (state education minister) was the chief guest in the valedictory ceremony and function was presided over by Prof. Naresh Dadhich, Vice-Chancellor  Vardhman Mahaveer Open University,Kota .

ØProject High TEC – Teaching English Communication Work Shop: -

Project High TEC – Teaching English Communication Work Shop was also organised  as a joint collaborative venture between the Commissionerate of College Education and American Embassy's English Language Fellow Programme. The workshop was also been conducted at S.S.Jain Subodh PG College from 11^th February to 23 February 2008, where Rajasthan Government College Teachers Were   provided special training by George M. Chinnery, Senior English Language Fellow.

Ø  Seminar on Awareness for Assessment and Accreditation of NAAC:-

One day Seminar on Awareness for Assessment and Accreditation of NAAC was Organized by Quality Assurance Cell (QAC) Commissionerate College Education, Rajasthan. at S.S.Jain Subodh PG College on 15^th Feb. 2008 which was  inaugurated by Dr. N.K.Jain, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Sh.B.S.Madhukar, Deputy Advisor NAAC, Bangalore, Sh.Atul Kumar Garg, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Govt. of Rajasthan, and Dr.S.S.Jain, Joint Director, (P&C), Commissionerate, College Education, Rajasthan were present on this occasion as guest dignitaries.  The crux of this seminar was the need of the assessment and accreditation in different private and govt. colleges to improve quality in higher education.

ØPrincipal's Conference: -   ?

ØCultural Programme :- North - Eastern  Cultural exchange Programme was held on 24^th Feb. 2008 at College Campus which was organized by Nehru Youth Centre Rajasthan with joint collaborative effort by Rajeev Gandhi Rashtriya Yuva Sansthan, Sriperumbudar.

ØGorband :-  Gorband programme was organized by the college on 30^th January 08. On this occasion various patriotic songs, group and solo songs,  group and solo dance were performed by the students which articulated the entire ambience of the college with their rustic performances and folk lore.

ØProgramme of birth day celebration on M.K. Gandi  and L.B.Shastri on 2^nd Oct. 2007:-

The teaching staff & students of our college organized this programme. In this programme Pakistan war and Tashkand Varta with a reference to the than promotion Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and dedication of Rashtrapita Mohan S das Karam Chand Gandhi was expressed by the college deans, lecturers and students.

 Ø MOU with ICICI Bank: -

Subodh P.G. College has joined with the ICICI Bank on 31^st November 2007 to introduce a certificate course in banking for its students. The course has been introduced after the subodh college duly signed MOU with the ICICI Bank in collaboration with the commissionerate college education.

The job oriented course is designed to equip students with qualification required to handle professional responsibilities in the banking sector. 

ICICI Bank E-Learning Education Centre has been inaugurated by Sh.Atul Kumar Garg, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Dr. S.S.Jain, Joint Director, Commissionerate College Education  and Ms. Amrita Bedi, Regional Manager, ICICI Bank on 30^th April, 2008.      

Ø  Knowledge Centre: -

Rajasthan Government has established a knowledge centre in this college. The knowledge centre is established in partnership with GENPACT, a known BPO company. This was Inaugurated by Higher Education Minister, Sh. Kali Charan Saraf on 1^st March, 2008.   The main objective of knowledge centre are as under-

(i)     To provide career opportunity to those students who do not go for higher studiesn after completion of their U.G. program.

(ii)     To provide placement to deserving students in Earn-While-Learn scheme.

(iii)    To improve the overall employability of the students in degree colleges across the state.

Ø Annual  Prize Distribution Function: -

                            Annual prize distribution function was also organized by the college on March 1, 2007. On this occasion, students  were given prizes on the basis on their merit.

            ØAlumni Function :-  Alumini Function also organised in the college on 13 March, 2007 in which the Ex-Students  gave various  suggestion for the development in the college activities. Sh. Ashok Chatar, Convener of Subodh Shiksha Samiti also emphasized for the strong formation of alumni association.             

ØAward: - Dr. K.B.Sharma, Principal of our college was awarded Rastriya Vidhya Saraswati Puraskar at Delhi on 12^th December 2007 by Ex- Governor Tamilnadu and Ex- Central Cabinet  Minister Dr. Bhishm  Narayan.

ØBlood Donation Camp :- On 5^th Dec. 07, College organized a Blood Donation Camp with the assistance of Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Care Society in which 100 students donated blood voluntarily.

Ø Infrastructure :-

1. Twenty  rooms are constructed in this year. A well- equipped underground Parking System has  been constructed for the students.

2.   ICICI Bank E-Learning Education  Centre has also been established .

3. Language Lab is also constructed in the college. 

4.Research labs were established in the department of Physics and Chemistry where students can utilise their talent and convert it into innovative research work.

5.There is a fully air conditioned well equipped audio and visual system conference hall to accommodate 400 persons is reconstructed and renovated for any kind presentations or functions.

6. Hostel building for the girl candidates of our college is under construction with the financial assistance of UGC its foundation ceremony was held on 11^th February, 2008 by the President, S.S.Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti, Jaipur.
