Guild Activities

SPORTS- College has sufficient space for the sports activities and various tournaments which are held  here from time to time. Students seeking admission in the college are required to participate in these  activities for the physical and mental development. Subodh PG College aims at facilitating an overall development of students. Hence, the college provides innumerable sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. In the session 2007-2008 many sports and games activities were organised by our college on Inter Collegiate level in Rajasthan University. Many our students secured positions and selected in Rajasthan University team for inter university tournaments like Cricket, Riffle Shooting, Boxing, Athletics, gymnastics Man & Woman, Table Tennis and Tennis etc. Mr.Dinesh Makhija, a student of our college also secured Ist Position in the Best Physique Rajasthan University Inter-Collegiate Tournament. He also secured a Title  "Mr. Pink City 2008" and "Muscle Man of Rajasthan 2008". 

Our college also secured positions in the following  inter college competition.

N.S.S. – NSS is a voluntary activity open to all the students of all faculties so that they can provide community service to the society. The concept behind NSS is over all development of students through service. A ten days special camp from 15^th – 24^th December 2007 was organised at Maharani Ki Chattriyan, Ramgarh Mode, Jaipur. The N.S.S. develops ethics through several human values like sincerity, honesty, discipline and compassion. Three NSS units have been sanctioned by Government of Rajasthan to our college. Principal's conference was held on 16^th March 2008 under the banner of NSS.during the session 2007-2008. A two day conference also held of NSS programme officers and volunteers by the NSS units of the college on 22-23 February 2008. Program Officers Mr. Roshan Nepalia, Dr. O.P.Sharma, and Dr. Pyare Lal supervise activities N.S.S. programs.

N.C.C.- The college has facility for N.C.C. training relating to Army, Navy and AIR Force. Opportunities of army training through N.C.C. is provided to the students of the college and every year armed and other forces– organize recruitment camps (CISF, CRP, Police, Home Guards) etc, where a few posts are reserved for N.C.C. cadets holding “C” certificate. N.C.C. cadets get exemption in written examination for the post of commissioned officers. N.C.C. also aims at providing free of cost training for firing, rock climbing, para jumping, mountaineering, trekking and hang gliding etc.. Poor but intelligent cadets get scholarship through N.C.C. programmes. A students of B.A. (Part-III) Senior Under Officer Mr. Aishwarya Kumar Sharma of our college was awarded as a best cadet of Rajasthan and also won Rupees 3000/- as cash Prize given by Deputy DG, NCC Rajasthan.  Six students from our college also participated in the Republic Day celebration, New Delhi 2008. STUDENT ALLUMNI ASSOCIATION- This is an association which has a direct link with the old students to interact with the present students of the collage. The objective of this association is to provide information about every activities the college. The necessary informations about the addresses and the contact numbers of the alumni members are updated time to time. Nominal membership fee is charged from the old students. Dr.K.R.Kothari is the co-ordinator of this activity. 

PLANNING FORUM- For upgrading knowledge about economic development of the country on the economic front, planning forum has been established under Dr.Deepesh Jain  who provides direction for such activities. The students are required to participate in such kind of activities on large scale.

ROVERING- College also conducts rovering schemes. The incharge of this activity is  Dr.O.P.Sharma, lecturer in ABST dept. who has been assigned this duty for the induction of such programmes. Those students who want to participate in such kind of activities  can contact him directly.

COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY INSURANCE - S.S.Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti also provides a comprehensive safety insurance policy through " New India Assurance Co. Ltd." in the favour of the faculty members as well as the employees for any kind of accidental death or disability. The maximum amount upto 50,000/-. will made available to the insured.

ANTI-RAGGING CELL – As per judgment of Supreme Court dated 16^th May 2007 (In the court of Justice Arijeet Pasayat and Justice H.S.Kapadia on the recommendation of Raghuvan committee) we have constituted Anti Ragging Cell in the college. Those students who are found to be involved in the ragging, will not be allowed to seek admission in the college. Even the if senior student found involved in ragging will be expelled from the college and an F.I.R. against such student will be lodged in the concerning police station. Students are advised to inform such ragging cases to Dr.G.S.Bhatnagar Dean Administration of the college.
